C Learning Screencastify Bundle Offer to Ireland.pdf

Screencastify Offer

A special offer from C-Learning and Screencastify to the innovative educators in Ireland!

C Learning has been supporting schools and colleges in Ireland since 2014 and is the only Google Premier Partner operating in Ireland.

Click Here for More on this great Offer

With the support of our partners Screencastify we have secured investment to provide a bundle of specialist software and support for a limited number of qualifying organisations to enable them to become recognised for outstanding innovation. The software and support in each bundle outlined on the attached poster will be at zero cost to the school or college for one year and represents an investment of thousands of Euros for each successful organisation.

To qualify each organisation is required to upload a short video outlining why they should receive the investment via the links below (one link is for a school / college as an organisation and the second link is for an individual package of tailored support) and the only qualifying condition is that each organisation would need to invest in one of the paid licences from Google Workspace to cover one class as well as procuring enough chromebooks for one class set also if they don't already have them.

We are thrilled to be able to bring this opportunity to the education community of Ireland. As part of the programme we will be showcasing each institution and will invest significant marketing resources into the amplification of both the transformational journey of the school or college in the programme, as well as the story of innovation in education in Ireland.

We couldn't be more proud to be supporting our networks, clients and friends in Ireland and our message is that this is just the exciting beginning of a much larger story. We will continue to invest in Ireland and it's amazing educators who are transforming the life chances of others.

For now, the story starts here with a poster and a couple of simple forms.

We can't wait to get started, and we are excited to evaluate the submissions. The deadline for the submissions on the forms is the 11th March 2022.

Launch of Ireland’s First Google Educator Group – GEG

Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board’s Schools Division has marked the exciting launch of Ireland’s Google Educator Group website – www.geg.ie. The website was launched by Google for Education Ireland on Tuesday 16th at a webinar for educators throughout Ireland looking at Blended Learning for the new academic year. This is the first approved Google Educator Group for Ireland.

GEGs are independently run communities of educators who inspire and empower each other to meet the needs of students through technology, both in the classroom and beyond, via face to face meet-ups and online activities. GEGs provide a way for educators who are passionate about education and technology to meet like-minded people to share, learn and collaborate with one another. GEG Ireland endeavours to provide fellow educators with the most accurate, up-to-date information and best-practice in integrating technology into teaching and learning.  The group actively shares innovative knowledge and expertise in using Google for Education tools.

GEG Ireland was established by Donncha Ó Treasaigh, the ETB’s Director of Schools, and Conor Power, an IT teacher at Coláiste Chiaráin, an ETB school in Croom, County Limerick. GEG Ireland has posted an exciting and comprehensive schedule of events with some of the most well-known and respected educators in Ireland who are passionate about using Google in Education technology. GEG.ie will be updated regularly with relevant and helpful information, cutting-edge thought leadership, announcements and class-based success stories and experiences.

Donncha Ó Treasaigh, Director of Schools, praised all involved in working to develop this powerful support network for educators in Ireland. He said: “Teachers have been leading the way in embracing the use of technology, such as Google for Education for years, to enrich learning and teaching for our students. Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) has become an essential component of the toolkit that educators must use now to engage students of all levels, particularly with school closures and the need to provide Distance Learning measures.”

GEG Ireland

GEG Ireland will be co-hosting a live Meet on Tuesday, 16 June at 1.00pm to look at ways schools can prepare for September and a new school year.
